This Privacy Policy explains how Slashiee Pty Limited ("Slashiee", "we", "us") collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal data when you visit slashiee.com or contact us.

This Privacy Policy should be read together with our Personal Information Collection (PIC) Statement, which sets out the specific notices required under Hong Kong's Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (PDPO) for personal data we collect from Website visitors.

01 Overview

Slashiee is a fintech company that builds and runs its own projects in payments, digital assets, and trading infrastructure. The personal data we collect through this Website is limited to what you choose to share when you get in touch with us. We do not require account creation or login to use the Website.

02 What personal data we collect

Depending on how you interact with the Website, we may collect:

  • Identity and contact information — such as your name, email address, and any other details you choose to include; and
  • Message content — the content of any enquiry, message, or attachment you send us by email;
  • Technical data — limited, non-identifying technical information (such as browser type) that may be automatically logged by our hosting provider for security and reliability purposes.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data (such as health information, racial or ethnic origin, or religious beliefs) through the Website, and we ask that you do not include such information in messages to us unless it is directly relevant and necessary.

03 How we collect it

We collect personal data directly from you when you contact us by email, or otherwise voluntarily provide us with information.

04 Why we collect it

We use your personal data for the following purposes:

  • To respond to your enquiry or message;
  • To discuss a specific project, partnership, or opportunity with you directly; and
  • To comply with our legal and regulatory obligations, and to maintain records for legitimate business purposes such as audit and dispute resolution.

05 Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We may share your personal data with:

  • Internal team members at Slashiee — where relevant to responding to your enquiry;
  • Service providers — such as our website hosting and cloud infrastructure providers (for example, Google Firebase), who process data on our behalf strictly to operate the Website; and
  • Regulators or authorities — where required by law, regulation, or a valid legal process.

06 Storage & security

Messages and any personal data submitted to us are stored using industry-standard technical and organizational security measures. We limit access to personal data to personnel who need it to respond to your enquiry.

While we take reasonable steps to protect your personal data, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

07 Retention period

We retain personal data for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this Policy, typically for up to 24 months from the date of your last interaction with us, unless:

  • You ask us to delete your data sooner (see "Your rights" below); or
  • We are required to retain it for longer to meet a legal, regulatory, or accounting obligation.

08 Your rights

Subject to applicable law, including the Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, you have the right to:

  • Ask us to confirm what personal data we hold about you and obtain a copy of it;
  • Ask us to correct inaccurate or outdated personal data;
  • Ask us to delete your personal data from our records; and
  • Withdraw any consent you previously gave, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@slashiee.com. We will respond to valid requests within a reasonable time and in accordance with applicable law.

09 Cookies

The Website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider may use minimal, strictly necessary technical mechanisms (such as caching) to operate the Website reliably. We do not use the Website to build advertising profiles of visitors.

10 International transfers

Because we use cloud infrastructure providers (such as Google Firebase) that may process and store data on servers located outside Hong Kong, your personal data may be transferred to, and processed in, jurisdictions other than Hong Kong. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure your personal data continues to receive an appropriate standard of protection.

11 Children's data

The Website is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can remove it.

12 Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
